As in a pulley kit or a timing belt?


I believe it is a pully kit aka the top belts aka I have the dumbs and new blitzen parts will arrive on Friday :D

The OEM belts should have sizes on them. If not, take them to your local bursons autopro etc and size them up. The number of guides gives you the first number, ie 5pk is 5 grooves etc. The size of the belt is the 3 digit number. So 870 is 870mm long. Match them up or if the belts don't have numbers, bring them into the store and physically compare them. Sorry if this has already been said, I've only just come back to my phone after several hours...

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

Thanks for the info mate I bought the belts, oil filter, 8L of gearbox oil, 5L of 5w 40 engine oil, coolant and spark plugs :D

Manual is EJ208. Auto is EJ206. Different compression so will need to have it tuned I guess. Throw in a manual gearbox and ECU too ;)

EJ208 > EJ206 but not much in it really.

Thanks for the response guys and it looks like it will work fine and my mate and I have got the motor out but we found that the primary turbo vf25 has huge shaft play and needs to be replaced so does anyone know where I can get one tomorrow :P
And by the way the motor that was in my car was an ej201 ? :P

And by the way the motor that was in my car was an ej201 ? :P

google says thats a SOHC NA impreza engine. Your cars make up is as confusing as mine

EJ201 was the GC8 WRX engine, I'm pretty sure?

If someone can confirm the inlet tract and exhaust manifold matches, I have a VF26/27 set available. $200 plus post? PM me if you're keen.

Also have a VF32/33 ADM B4 set too, but I know the inlet tract doesnt match on those.

That is sure is! And did you mean vf25 and vf27? Or is the vf25 that same as the vf26? My car is an import so I have the vf25 and the vf27 :) thanks

I know the set I have is 26/27, not sure the specs on the 25. Can someone confirm if there will be any issues substituting a 25 with a 26?

So guys after 3 weeks Of not having a car I have a 2nd hand JDM BH5 engine from Japan and I also have a VF26 turbo in and new belts and I was almost finished putting it together the plastic turbo intake pipe underneath the manifold had gone brittle and snapped so I need a new one so basically it will be a brand new setup with both turbos with no shaft play so once I get the plastic intake it will be good to go and I got a few new genuine Blitzen parts :D

I'm also thinking about selling the car very soon so if anyone is interested they can talk to me about a price :). Chris
