I stumbled across some enkei wheels that i think im going to have get, then use my WRX wheels for track work. Anyone know how 18x8 +45 would sit on a gen 2?

They'll fit easily with rear camber bolts, rear rolled guards, front camber and 215's......

I was running 18 x 8.5 +45 for a while. Now looking at 9.5 +38.....

Interesting. Im guessing 215s on an 8 inch wheel would be stretched a bit?

Not really. Very minor if you go the 45 profile. Dont go 215/35/18. Otherwise 225/40/18's.

Yeh, dont.

The paint will never be as durable as a baked finish unless you have an industrial paint booth/oven.

For around $200 a pair, there's no point to doing it yourself.

You tend to be perfectly right about these sort of things so, noted.

Parents have been away so car parts can live on the bench

Poor kent.

Enjoy your school/uni time, it doesn't last forever.
Trust me work is not as much fun as uni.
Except for working @ the Patto's Zoo.
