The original was molested beyond recognition! Whoever did it should be slapped as they used either an oxy or a plasma cutter and left slag and bits everywhere and cut waaaaayyyy more than needed off....basically it looked pathetic and was flimsy as hell lol
So got in with a grinder and cut to clear with enough space...but still have a bit of structure about it....took some time as I used my battery grinder and kept running outta battery power lol....so I bought myself a new makita grinder (awesome

Once done I deburred and filed the cut smooth and gave the whole lot a good spray with primer ready to paint it black tomorrow

All primed up ready for tomorrow

Also chucked the x force 4in bellmouth dump and race cat on while I was waiting and threw 3L into the gearbox (will top it up when the cars on flat ground)

Also got sick of looking at this under the car

And replaced it with this one off a GD wreck at the local wreckers along wjth the newer nuts and bolts

Anyways
Resprayed the front mount satin black all over whilst I was spraying the front reo....with the reo now cut properly and all bleck it looks so much tidier! Wish I took a photo of the old one......it was beyond horrible lol

Also sorting out where to mount the pwr power steering cooler ive got....this is where I had it mounted on the gen3 and I think its the best/easiest place to fit it in the RS....so ill drill and tap some holes and mount it properly before running all the lines.....also it will obviously get a lick of black paint aswell once mounted

Oh and after having to open up the holes on the whiteline h brace to bolt up to the subframe I finally got that all bolted up and with half of the exhaust all bolted up its starting to look complete under the car
