Gold wheels are awesome, not enough of them these days.

Mark is just trigger happy with his satin black.

Never knew everyone's feelings on muffler tips was so passionate, want to see this black tip.

I do understand his satin black obsession as i do intend to go that way eventually as said....and yeah i think they look good for the time being..even with the brembos being all gold and stuff behind them

And yes the passion is deep with the the tip...shiny or black? This shit may cause a war of sorts lol

But once again i see everyone's point, particularly Cams....but i want to try it, and at the end of the day thats all that really matters :)

My personal opinion (Yeah like anyone cares) is that there's too much black in the scene these days. Mark has a car where it works like a gem, and he's on of the few to have done it properly, but black wheels are becoming the new pod filters.

But either way, colour of the wheel has zero effect on the performance so who cares, go chrome wheels and lambo green brembos.

Nah i agree..there is way too much (these days...not on my car!) and i was doing it back before it was the cool thing to do lol

Hell the wheels may even go a nice silver or titanium yet...i dunno? Not really high on my list atm in all honesty lol

And hey i have a pod?! Though id prefer an airbox if i could make it fit....of which i will be trying one day ;)

Any you hit the nail on the head...colour..and looks have no effect on performance

And if it wasn't for a few too many beers on night not long ago this car would still be matte black, and i really liked it that colour :)

But that night i didnt and i tore it off...the beauty of vinyl ay?

I was doing black wheels back in '02. When people were still all over chromie's. :P

I love gold wheels, my favourite easily over black or dark rims and on a dark car even more so.

I just dont like gold calipers under them as theyre not the same color gold and it clashes imo.

If it was my car...... Id leave the wheels gold and paint the calipers red. Thats purely my opinion though (and my brain works funny....) :D

Charcoal car with black rims???     no thanks.

Not sold on gold rims with red calipers, but I agree the calipers need to be a different colour for some contrast.

Especially as there is not much contrast on the rest of the car.

Yeah nah i hate red calipers lol

Honestly i want black calipers...but as said dunno if any paint will cope with the abuse i may throw at them?

Mark? Any insight?

Or i could just go silverish rims and be done with it

Black would be good, with some red brembo stickerz.

I really like the BMW M navy blue brakes, that's a nice colour.

I like the gold wheels. Black exhaust sounds good, but not for the Invidia.

Either black or silver calipers is my "opinion".

Black caliper paint will be fine in terms of durability.

Silver wheels, black calipers with silver decals.

Black caliper paint will be fine in terms of durability.

Silver wheels, black calipers with silver decals.

lambo green brembos.

I was thinking chrome tip, black rims and kermit green calipers with matching neons. But Lamborghini green should suffice.

Or you could go all out on the rims - fluorescent orange either with a black caliper and matching orange writing or some hideous colour that clashes with the rims.

With that said, gold on gold (prob two diff colours of gold too) is a no no ;)

Cheers

I've completely rebuilt a car from the ground up with a full conversion to go with it and the thing that has caused most discussion is the colour of the rims lol

Its not a deal breaker with gold on gold....the STi pulled it off..so until i can be bothered the RS will do the same ;)

But i wanted black brembos to hide them a touch...but was unsure how the paint would take the track...so if it'll be fine I'm gonna probably go black calipers and either silver or a titanium rim

But this wont be till much later in the year :)

Who knows...when yous actually see a proper photo of it outside you may all like it

I definently don't hate it though lol. ...if even go as far as saying i like it

So :P

Hahaha
