My old Gen2 Legacy had a "disabled/towel rack" on the rear tailgate. Was 10000x useful for opening and closing the tailgate.

Farkn lol ....

That's just the pinnacle of JDM win.

What makes it the icing on the cake .... it's a factory option.

On a side note, it's so sad to see cars like GTB's rotting away in car yards like this. Probably with less than 100,000km's on them, mint interiors/exteriors and we cant bring them over to save them. Everytime I see one in Australia advertised online for sale, it's like walking past that dog with the big sad eyes at the rescue shelter.

I recognise that background from auction videoes on youtube so that gen 3 with a TK bar has been sold or will be sold etc but I know what you mean. What I dont get is why most of the Legacys in Australia are in such shit condition

Totally agree Nick.

It seems very rare that someone can pick up a nice example. The nicest ones I have ever seen unmolested from the get-go was Alex's Gen2 GTB (when it was stock bar a set of wheels) and Marks Gen3 GTB.

Though, so many are coming through here and getting the treatment they deserve. Alot have come along way!

I think I still got the flare in my Evo.

I also love that for a 2001 model, everything is auto and powered.
More things to break, but way fancy.

Rear wiper.
Launch control.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
