Stop it Ben, just stop. Everytime you bring up SCs I think 'I should do that'. And then I dream about it for days and then think of all the reasons I shouldn't do it, which are few and then I realise I'll never follow through with it, and therefore never have a mad supercharged SH Foz, so I think why not buy an XT, then I look for XTs for sale but they all have high kms and then I'm like, well I should keep my car. So then I keep it, then you mention SCs again and it all starts over.

Well Niko, after Barbbachello does his you can read his write up and go from there. Maybe he'll put kits together to sell as complete DIY units :P

Personally I love the challenges of pioneering new things, these are few and far between as the very first to do it these days but I reckon I've got two under my belt with the L series.

Can't wait to see what Barbbachello ends up doing with this. Maybe a supercharged H6 conversion with 6 speed icon_twisted.gif

That would be sick. And probably rip good skids :P

Cheers

Haha, I won't rule out Supercharging the Foz yet. I know it will only put out the same power figures as an XT, but would be interesting nonetheless.

Ooo, a H6 into a Gen 2, much deja vu. I think a supercharged H6 would have no luck fitting into that Gen2 bay.

I'm interested to see Nick's progress and conversion. I wonder if it's in his best interests to pick up Wob's car.

Hahaha I'm too chicken and poor to Pioneer for now. Still mad props to those guys.

H6 swap has crossed my mind but too limiting in power cos I'm poor

Why would I get wobs car? The rx has a turbo loom already, my suspension and brake setup is comparable and he has a purple dash not bleck :P

Ha ha, nice work. From what I've seen, the Victorian Jap plates are heaps better looking than what's planned for NSW.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Todays other achievement was getting a new rear bar and lip. 59 smackers to pick a part did the job. Its not mint but its 10x better than the old one.

Personal opinion, but I dont think standard combinations suit JDM plates.

I agree. But didnt have $500 to splash on them. Mainly after them for their dimensions

Fair enough, just realised its a restyle of your existing plate. Make use of the rear number plate hooks. :)

New bar looks mint compared to the old one.

Won't need to photoshop this one!

Slight change of pace today. Parents discovered how much crap i had actually been hoarding lel. So my brother came over and helped me clean out our "bike" shed. Is now my shed with 2 bikes in it  :yahoo:

Bpd3s6k.jpg

Tools and small work area on the left. Shelving for bits and bobs and some more tools.

zR2BqGe.jpg

Middle shelf has a box of rags and my good parts that will go on the car one day and beneath that is oil pans and the lowered suspension from the RX that will go onto the GX/racecar maybe. Tool box has spare nuts and bolts etc and painting stuff goes inside it.

Now have a big ass scrap pile and about 50L of waste fluids (not all mine, thanks 4WDing brothers and their 10L diesel oil bottles). Scrap will go to a scrap place for my lunch money one day
C8NORJZ.jpg
Going to see about getting some power in there as well. Theres a light thats wired in but might look into running an extension cord in somewhere to a power board. Can chuck my old laptop and some speakers in there for music and service manuals etc

Jap plates have arrived! 2 weeks rather than the 4 they estimated. Happy with the front fitment apart from needing a plate raiser bracket thing but the rear clearly Vicroads cant measure cos theyre taller than jap plates. Was hoping theyd use the hooks but at least they cover them. Might be able to bend them out a little and slide it in
