Disappoint.
I'd want to see the gearsack and diff fluids so I could pass a magnet through them.

Sump plug should have a magnet on it but will ask about that too

So i rang the mechanic this arvo and went over the quote with him etc and asked what was done to the brakes
- HD clutch will be going back in, his supplier only really deals in them so that works for me. Machined flywheel as well
- They are replacing all the brake pads (not sure if the thieves rode the brakes or they were just getting low, meh) also machining the rotors
- New rear shaft
When it comes to the locks there are no new locks available. Makes sense as last repairer had to get them from japan. So the lock smith is going to come in and re-key/repair the current locks/or replace the tumblers. Explains why its so much cheaper than last time. Also will look into my crooked window lel. He said that the lock smith doesnt come under his quote or something along those lines, so my understanding is the 2150 is for the mechanical work not the locks.
Seems like a strange situation to me but if my car gets fixed and I dont have to do it I cant really complain. Will ask Shannons what happens if the gear box or engine blows up in the next few weeks. My thinking is it was fine when it came back so not our problem but cant hurt to ask

Yes
Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

^^ Epic.
Sedans for show, wagons for pros.

As a wagon owner, I wouldn't mind a sedan at all (it was my initial preference). The wagon has grown on me since.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille
Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

All this smack talk about wagons over sedans - given he's got the sedan back now I doubt these "arguements" will sway the decision on the sedan in the near future.
