Nice.

Fuel is all good now. Ha ha. It was taken on my way back from Wollongong yesterday afternoon. Cruise control was on! I am thankful for the travel as I went down to 12L/100 instead of 12.4L or 12.6L.

You get 12.4 with an auto? Cool.

Mine is currently on 14.4 but I usually don't display that screen as not many forks are given.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

A few days delay, but here are a few photos of the STi rear trailing arms I managed to grab. They're not the best quality pics but I did what I could at the time with WD40 and dirt on my hands.

Things I have bought so far in order to get my car that much closer to being mechanically full-proof:

  • LH front wheel bearing from a MY07 3.0R SpecB wagon (88,000 km old) - $72 including postage
  • Whiteline lower control arm bushes - $125.90 including postage
  • Full Bilstein suspension in near new condition (only 600 km old) - $547 including postage

Awesome prices for those parts Garry and your car is coming along nicely now time for some STI / Blitzen wheels ;)

That's another name for rear trailing arms bobbyjimmy? I didn't know that. You learn something new every day. :)

Yeah I do. It dropped down to 12L per 100 km yesterday night as well. :)

Clearly your Mum needs to floor it more often.

Haha, +1.

Thanks a lot man! I do agree and I'm so lucky to have grabbed them all in the time that I did. Making so much ground with everything which is fantastic. Don't worry, my savings are slowly going up for a new set of rims. ;)

ERGH.

Needs less scissor jack!!!!!!

Buy me a new floor jack then. Smart ass.

Haha, I know I know. I'd have to see how much they're worth. The garage is a bit of a cyclone at the moment due to my parents fixing up the house and what not so I might give it a miss for now. At least until I've got my own specific section in there.

It's relevant. No apology required. Just say nice things about the car and my mods or else.

Thanks man.

I tried. I still can't get over how much better the bushes are as opposed to the OEM ones to be honest. Such a good upgrade.

Cleaning my car tomorrow in preparation for a nice Hooters meet. Suspension should be coming in some time this week as well, and I managed to purchase some Philips X-tremeVision for high beams. ;)

I will update everyone once they've all come in and have been installed.
