Hi,

Close, but the STi has a much wider honeycomb to the mesh. Hard to see in that photo I guess.

Cheers,
Nik

Right, no worries. I'll keep an eye out for it then and hope to add it to my list of mods soon enough. Appreciating all the help as usual. SubyClub is honestly the best car enthusiast forum I've ever been on.

Still keen to hear from anyone about the wagon. Keep the comments coming.

Have a look on club lib for my build thread for info on how I did my grill. As well as everything I've done.

I started with pretty much exactly what you have now :)

Just had a look, nice work man. You've already given me a few ideas. I've been having a look at the 'For Sale' forum there to try and scout some good deals. ;)

Thanks man. It's only got the stock lights installed, but I'd love to get HIDs in soonish. Aren't they illegal to have though unless you've got an engineers certificate? Can the MY07 headlights be installed on my model (I remember them having the mechanism that auto-adjusts when the lights are turned on)? Or was I smoking something...?

Thanks a lot Morgan. Hoping to start getting some paint on this artwork soon. Although I don't really want to go down the same path as Picasso... It'll spell disaster for it.

They technically aren't legal... NFI about later model ones. I suggested 4300k because you are less likely to get bad attention!

And they'd be brighter then the stock ones I assume? Thanks for the tip.

Hi,

Just go for the updated headlights like I did. You'll be stoked. I got them for chips from the states.

Cheers,
Nik

MY07 ones won't fit as they're a different shape. How have you updated yours, Nik?

Hi,

They are possibly just the same as the Spec.B ones? But they are black surround etc. USDM spec. Definitely different to my 3.0R spec ones.

Cheers,
Nik

Looking good Gary.

The STi lips look awesome on these. If you wanted something cheaper, the ezlip is a good alternative.

Someone mentioned the tune from Kido. I've not personally done it, but I've heard it drastically improves throttle response, fuel economy and general drive ability.

Have you though about a muffler delete, and some sort of exhaust? I'd imagine that'd free up a bit of hidden power.

Cheers,
Shazza

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Ah fair enough. I'll look into it too then. Thanks.

Thanks Show Us Your Tits. I'll see if I can find an STI lip that's not over the top expensive, but worst case scenario or to have one in the meantime would mean that I get the EZ Lip. I think getting a tune from Kido is a bit of a mission for me. He's located in Coffs Harbour right? Anywhere closer to the Sydney area that anyone can recommend to get a tune done? There's a place in Marrickville called Tunehouse. Anyone heard of or been there themselves?

I'd love to get the throttle response, fuel economy and general drive ability you speak of. Any little bit counts as always.

Muffler delete? Sounds dirty. Has been thought of, but I don't want anything going down the illegal road. I have thought about and would definitely like to purchase an exhaust system. Complete from extractors to tip. Suggestions on sizes, brands, places to go, etc? Tints are of interest to me as well, and I believe is in your field? What are your prices?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Glad to have people with an interest into the brainstorming stages of ma girl.

I've heard some bad things recently from some big names in the subaru crowd about Throttlehappy/Kido tunes. (Band-aid fixes, Rich tunes, Detonation ect) No names will be mentioned.

As for exhausts, A resonator/muffler delete will be cheap, legal and give you that lovely scream these engines put out.

Or you could spend $20,000 on a brand name exhaust that will sound the exact same.

You can also do a resonatorectomy, Which will make the car scream a bit at WOT http://forum.liberty...&t=6200&start=0

As for tunes...

Swing Autotech Engineering, MSR (Michael South Engineering) or Hitman (He's good with H6's apparently) emails and see what they can do for you.

Good luck.

Great purchase for your P's. :D

Foglight.....

At some stage it hasnt been sealed properly and water/dirt has gotten in there. You can remove, pull apart and clean. Not something to tackle if your not handy.

RHS muffler.....

Why is it hanging down / misaligned?

Grills....
