Yes, sure did. Not the same as fitting new pads, but as other guys have said when you get to about 50% pedal travel you really get good feedback and (without stats) the braking response feels improved. I'm glad I did it and I recommend it. You're meant to re-tighten it after 100km and I just realised I haven't done that yet!

The most helpful tool is a long socket extension (at least 200mm).

Ok awesome, and I'll keep the tip about the 200mm extension in mind!

Thanks man, yeah it's getting there. Had a bit of a delay with the 4 pot brakes and I had a quick go at the brake stopper but no dice ( a bit rushed). The radiator panel won't fit my radiator because of oversized radiator and the mounts are too wide haha so new mounts ordered! (A bit if careful grinding will fix that!)
Fingers crossed!

Good luck with the "careful grinding" and once you get the 4 pots on you will notice a big difference! When braking almost 100% it use to rip my face off in my heritage :P

Maybe I'll just use a metal saw haha and I've figured out I have to remove some factory bracing that doesn't come on B4s as it fouls on the downpipes... So fun fun! And yep I'm looking forward to that plus the stoppers increase in brake feel!
