Wow. This is certainly coming along nicely. What size cable have you selected for battery cable?

My suggestion if you haven't bought any yet is 50mm2 welding cable (the proper multicore flex stuff). Will cost a fair bit, but it will be worth it. Volt drop not only kills off start cranking, but it will also hurt your spark plug voltages and also to a certain degree sensor readings to the ECU.

Looking shithot though dude.

Thanks man, i bought proper battery cable 52mm i think its like rated to 400amp or something, so hopefully wont have any issues there, its all running and frying tires now, just need to sort out the brakes :) will upload a video soon

Thats sounds like the right stuff. 0 guage is about the minimum I would run for a starter motor, esp. from the boot. It translates to 53 and a bit square mm, and is about 8mm in diameter for anyone looking to do something similar.

Video +1

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Mate..with the trunk floor cutout, what did you use to cover it back up?

I wanna do the same with mine to knock some weight out of it...was thinking thin sheet alloy riveted in

Also how come you didnt cut the whole wheel well out almost to the rails?

I used a sheet of 3mm galvanized steel, i cant remember why i didnt go right to the rails, but i put some 50x50 box under it welded to the rails for support. from memory i shaved about 5 or 6kg

so ive decided that the r180 wouldn't cut handling full time drifting, so i went and got myself a rear end from a R33, now the fun bit of making it fit and work :) :P wish me luck
