Vac/boost control lines are done! And look tidy i reckon, i used the spiral bits off a few clutch soft lines to hold and guide the hoses. I will have to unplug the wastegate and boost sense hose, link them together and bridge out the wastegate straight to the boost sense so i run on wastegate pressure till the tune, as its got a run in tune still on the ecu

Due to rotating the turbo, the compressor barb fouled on the tgv housing. So i had to remove the barb and put an allen key bolt in it with some 3 bond to keep it in there
But alas, where dafaq do i get the boost signal from? I was gonna drill and tap the comp housing, but cbf as the turbo is installed already lol
Talking to Al (can not thank him enough, from my gen3 to this car he has been a wealth of knowledge and is always happy to offer assistance) boost is boost...so i just drilled/tapped and screwed in a barb into the first inch of the hot fmic pipework
Should work a treat

so the engine bay is pretty much complete to be able to start the engine... (not actually complete obviously

..).....just need to clean the cold side pipework out and put a battery in

also put the accordian style RS shift boot over the 6 speed shifter....i have a gd sti setup to go on it eventually though

so yeah bit more done...still lots to do, but hopefully i can hear it turn over in the next few days!!!
Peace out! Im gonna go have a brewskie or two
