Yep when you put it like that it does sound suss lol
And its those things you mentioned that its reassuring to have it for....i watched dad use his late night on a drive back home when i was about 10 on a car that had crashed into a ditch with a lady trapped in it
It was a quiet and relatively deserted road, and i remembered waiting ages for the firies and ambos to arrive....and i reckon if he hadnt showed up when he did, with a working fire extinguisher that ladies day would have been a bit different
That was the event that prompted me to always think serious about fire safety..in the car and in the home

That's it man. It's by only for our own safety but it could save someone else's life too

Since we're all talking about this....
I bought one, hah!

Also, their facebook has a code "mayday" for $10 off and free shipping
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Bought one too! And as I've been told by Matt Bunnings no longer stock cams approved fire extinguishers but Mitre 10 do

I have had two cars catch fire on the road out the front of the workshop.
The first was a Celica that had a small engine fire. The driver was out and the bloke who lived in the house the car was in front of, put it out with a garden hose before I even got across the road.
The other was an Escort with yet another engine fire. I ran over with the fire extinguisher but when I realised it was an Escort, and the driver was out and safe (and with others), I turned around and went back to work.
Never really liked Escorts.
I have always had extinguishers in the older cars, and still do, plus I could probably could do with one in each of the Subarus. I also have one in the garage.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

These look great but they don't move with the seat. The ones I made for my cars are attached to the seat not the floor, like a Mercedes Benz whom I stole the idea from.
