As long as its the dyno making the horrible screeching and groaning and not the car.

How does the Liberty sound at full noise?

Hahaha holy shit!! The first few were lucky! Those mustangs though lol

Well theres good news and theres bad news...well not bad..annoying lol

Car has a great base e85 tune, Mick loves the car!, he says its the best setup rs hes seen in his life and it feels so light and sure footed :D, car hauls arse and is on e85 and the thing sounds like a farking jet!!

But

Engine is breaking down under boost :(
At approx 4500rpm in 4th, full throttle and about 20psi its breaking down and stuttering

Mick was cool about it and said take it home, the tunes good...and put some fresh plugs in it and try a 4th gear pull and see if its fixed....i can definitely feel the breakdown atm so will easily see if its fixed

So hes got me to source some double tip platinums to put in...fingers crossed it fixes it...if not its a coil which i hope it isnt

He says with a lot of starting and stopping a half cut engine theyre prone to foul plugs

And it was the one thing i was gonna do but got sidetracked and ran out of time ffs lol

Its always the way hahaha

Anyways today for the moment was no charge and ill be on it asap hoping to get it back on the dyno asap!! Gonna push to get it back in before HVC!

Oh and i grabbed a new set of rotors for the r180 conversion on its way ;)

I'm just yanking his chain! :P

I'm sure it will be impressive if a tuner who deals with the brand is impressed.

He reckons around the 230 mark...but couldnt get a power run so he honestly had no idea as he couldnt give it full boost

If he was to give me numbers theyd be meaningless

Youll never know what its referring to :)

Wait...i dont even know lol

But yea the power curves showed a nice rise then a sudden drop on breakdown so nothing at all to go by, he said everything else is good to go and seems solid

Lets just hope its an easy fix, i may even get a spare set of coils to have handy as theyre getting on in age these days and are starting to fail on a lot of these engines
