FARK YOU CAR!!
After only 300km on the new/refurb passenger side hub, i noticed a loud rubbery squeek when rolling the car around today
Got the shits with it and pulled the rim off and checked it thinking it may be the cv boots or something simple
But after pulling the whole hub off i found the outer seal wasnt fitted right and was wearing away (rubber all in the brake disc) and was making a horrible sound
Luckily cardiff auto had spares so i tore it off...im getting good at it now lol...10mins!! And flew up to cardiff and swapped it over
All is now good..but it wiped out 3 to 4 hours outta my day when i wanted to give the car a polish and wax
So she got a half arsed wash and wipe down and interior clean and i think thatll do
But im now ready for tomorrow and keen as mustard!

So got over the spark breakdown/soft misfire yesterday when booting 3rd and 4th.
So on Micks recommendation i sourced another alternator from the wreckers today...scored a bugeye RS alternator which was the same part number and got it very cheap
So dug in and put the new STi coils i got from STi heaven (10min job now) and swapped alternators
Took her for a good run to my local test area and had a good run in all gears at WOT.
I didnt feel it once! Pretty stoked! Will drive it to work a few times this week ato be sure its fixed, but after the run yesterday and what it was doing i should have felt it today if it was still there
Car was crab walking hard in the wet! Hahaha was such a blast
