You might be interested in the engineering that went into it. http://www.litre8.com/ click on the details link to the left.

Old car now, but still an awesome bit of gear.

I tried chasing it around the Philip Island circuit once, the thing has enormous balls.

I used to drool over that Torana when it first appeared years ago in the Street Machine magazine. Awesome machine.

Yep. I belive it is the only car that has been on the cover three times. Used to run a 600hp turbo 202 back in the day when no one knew what turbo was.

More time spent on the old girl today

Pulled the control arms, hubs and steering rack ready to swap it all out

I only had the arvo free...but i still ended up getting the GD arms on, along with a quick refresh of the bushes. Also got the 05 sti knuckles installed, fe440 quickrack bolted up and the lines plumbed in....just have to swap tie rod ends tomorrow, replace the pump suction hose and the steerings done

The guards will need a quick roll tomorrow due to the extra track, and the car will get a rough measurement alignment before going in for a local alignment on Monday

Found out the gd sti swaybar wont fit as it hits on the dent for the up pipe...despite hearing i could.....but the aftermarket swaybars are straight where it hits

So at a later date ill grab a whiteline bar for a gd and fit it up

In the meantime im putting the rs 18mm back on but will be adding 2mm to 3mm off washers to wach end of the seaybar links to space it out properly and keep the links at the right angle

And only one more week till the retune...im fairly excited lol

You must have one very patient and very loving missus. :D

Coming along quite nicely.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

Also she was devestated when i sold the gen3...so shes happy i have a new toy as she loves fast cars...though with the clutch in this id never let her drive it lol

And i dont really have many other hobbies so to speak, so this keeps me out of her hair ...and gives me a chance to relax doing it aswell
