First set of numbers are done

This magnet backing is super strong, its the commercial stuff used on most car doors

Had extra magnet left aswell....so i made another magnetic blue battery triangle

Other one was made out of a p plate which was great but this is a touch stronger ;) and using a magnet saves buying new stickers every time

Came out alright :)
20150828_112330.jpg

Easily peeled off...will put race tape on the leading edge to ensure it never flicks off

Magnetic blue triangle ftw

Easy storage for the signage ;)

Ha, cool, I've got a set of round magnets I was going to do the same thing with mine.

Love all the gear you've got, you'll look like your breaking lap records sitting in the pits.

I've been thinking about one of those OMP wheels as well, just brings it out a bit closer to you and nothing like a bit of suede like material to grip onto.

Hahaha its all stuff to make everything safer and give me better control of the car :)

Yeah round would be cool....but no double digit numbers available unfortunately

I was gonna go the proper semi deep dish...or even a 90mm deep dish, but i have pretty long arms so this ends up being perfect...and yep suede is boss

You think its grippy ..then you put gloves on and are like wtf lol...they stick like glue!!

Definently not a setup for drifting and letting the wheel spin fast in your hands lol

Take me for a drive and I'll tell you. :)

You know you're more than welcome to come knock on my door and ride shotgun bru.....you've helped bring this old girl back to life more than any one

Few more things done.....it never ends lol

Finally sorted out the 2nd catch can (hyperflow 4 port) for the head breathers...fit in fairly well and was pretty staright forward

Cut up an old boost solenoid bracket off the halfcut to make a bracket to bolt the can to and painted it all bleck

New can is where the washer bottle normally is
20150829_135144.jpg
20150829_1351510.jpg

As you can see in the above pics, i have also added a GD spec pulley cover to add a bit more bleck and to cover the pulleys ofcourse ;)

Having no air con anymore i had to add a bracket somehow to hold one side

Once more a bit of metal from the halfcut bin..bit of grinding...bit of drilling and tapping and of course a lick of paint and its solid as a mofo

20150829_135114.jpg
20150829_135130.jpg

Bit of the awesome JB weld just in case on the bracket and bolt
20150829_125629.jpg

Also whilst i was at my local Bursons i grabbed some of Nulons new E85 additive to give it a go (thanks Wob for showing me this shizz)...added half a bottle to a jerry can, gave it a good shake and topped the tank up and will see how it goes....not that ill see or feel anything lol

But with the way the car sits in the garage most of the time its good insurance to put in half a bottle per tank to keep the fuel good and moisture free

Anyways...im going for a drive :D

Lithiumax lighweight (1.8kg) battery finally installed

Its a 400cca and 30 RC battery so should do fine :)

So dam light and only 70mm wide and 160mm high

Custom made a hold down bracket out of 6mm alloy plate and some alloy angle from work...all painted blackof course ;)

Has some rubber the clamps down onto the battery on it...and the battery sits on some rubber aswell

It aint going nowhere lol

Due to having 5mm bolts as the connections to the battery i opted to relug all the cables with heavy duty lugs (crimped and solderes) with 6mm holes

And some neato projecta terminal covers to keep the connections tidy and covered

Now for the pictures :D
