Nice work....but your radius on the bracket ends needs attention.

Looks good, bet your excited for the Ringwood event.
Went and watched a state round there last year, looks like a fun track.
I've got my Lap dash event on the same weekend here in Tamworth. Can't wait.

Pfft close enough lol
Dodgy as usual. You can do better.
Hahaha
Nice job never the less Matt.
IIRC Bruce McPhee (the bloke who won Bathurst in 1968 driving all but one lap) fitted a smaller and much lighter battery under a hollowed out shell of the cars original battery, as the cars those days had to remain virtually 'off the showroom floor' standard.
That concludes today's useless history lesson.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

And thanks to Pat i have scored some Ultraleggeras in 17x8 +48...ie they clear brembos

And they look porn!
Also scored a set of ADVAN A050's in the soft (g/s) compound that have 60% life left as a bit of a taste tester to see if theyre what i want in the longrun
Hard part is that now ive tried the new rims on...i really like them lol
And have been tempted to run them daily

But they seem like a much better choice for the hillclimbs because
1:theyre lighter
Ultraleggeras weigh 16.8kg with tyres
STi rims weigh 19.8kg with tyres
12kg of unsprung weight off the car is a big chunk
2:theyre wider
8 inch vs 7.5 inch
Running the same 225/45 so not as important..but should be a more stable platform
3: better offset
Ultraleggeras +48
STi +53
Ie...wider track again...with the gd arms etc there isnt much room left with these on lol
So yeah i think theyre the better option
For the moment anyways lol....i really want some of the STi 17s that bosskong has as a daily rim...but in the foz offset

Yep these tyres will be gone asap and replaced by the A050's, so i cbf tyre shining something i wont be running lol, this was simply a test fitment

And i think Robs taking these tyres off me....theyre michelin pilot SS with a tiny bit of life left in them

They weren't the same offset specs as mine I thought. Sam had sold them to Bumps i think so I'll ask him.
They needed restoration IIRC, bit of rash.
