I've seen some in the US use snowboards. Just detune the edges so they aren't sharp...

Shouldn't be too difficult to make out of some Perspex or something?

Sorry, I was bullied a lot at school.

Thule makes those diffuser things for roof racks.

http://www.thule.com...list.php?s_id=2

Control F 'fairing'.

$131...not bad...

there's a tyre place down the road from mine that supplies Thule gear.

;)

Cool find! 'Fairing' Now we know the official name and price and these look just like one i saw on a civic at blacktown bout a month ago. Namely the end parts are how im identifying that.

EDIT

Cheaper on Ebay:

After much research last night I did discover they are called a 'roof fairing'. I plan to get one at some point but have a few other mods planned for the time being.

Sorry, I was bullied a lot at school.

You guys need to research harder. Ive been considering one ever since I bough the Outback but according to the US forums the mounting clips are very flimsy and prone to breaking.

That above ebay link doesnt ship to AUS. This one does......

http://www.ebay.com....#ht_1897wt_1163

$110 to your door is pretty cheap.

Ok that makes me want to build my own brackets, not a bad price, but i dont want 110 dollars being flung behind me while im doing 110. :D

And it'd most likely be a problem if you dont have Thule racks?

Plus, Ive had a little bit of a brain storm and come up with another idea that will make mine unique as fook. ..well, have a unique feature about it..

Guys TWO QUESTIONS,

does anyone have any knowledge/experience about painting dash parts? Not the hard plastics but the trim, the softer more pliable plastics, so meaning the glove box and surrounds and the door trim plastics.. I want to darken it up, make it look and feel like a newer revision Lib.

And also, in regards to painting the boot and spoiler; I'm wondering if i should go out and do it with 2-pak paint so its stronger, or just do the spray can enamel paints. Want to keep it as DIY as possible though.

Cheers guys

If you wanna DIY, use acrylic and a gun I reckon. Pressure pack would look povo.

If you don't wanna buy the gear. Pay someone to spray it.

Or try cans first, but I dont think it will come up that good!

A fair bit actually, need a decent compressor, spray gun, hose, and mask.

But can get it looking pretty good!

Notbadface!

Best see if you can borrow gear!

Or like i said, give cans a go! But I don know how high your expectations are!
