3D paint lolz... Yeah well ill sand them back next week i guess. Ill put them on for the cruise. It'll show up nice in far away pics at least.

And definitely going back and getting a refund.

Good luck with that... They'll say user error/didn't prep the surface etc etc.

Just sand them with 800 to get rid of the rises in the paint, wash them (dish washing liquid is good and gets rids of grease and any silicone left over), spray them lightly, let it dry for an hour or so in the sun (or with heat lamps like Chris did) then hit them with a heavy coat.
And leave them to dry for like a week in the sun or overnight with heat lamps on them.

2002 Outback - it's gone...

Worth a shot though. I'll take him pictures of it and ask him if he'd be happy with it and explain how i did it. If he's reasonable he'll understand i did nothing wrong and was told it would work. Besides, its not his money he's loosing if he refunds :)

And so should I remove ALL of this black paint? back to the primer?
Week in the sun might not be quite possible haha with rain and all :) Heat lamps eyy...

Nah, not all of it, just get rid of the rises so it's flat(ish) again.

car wasn't starting again last night. changed over batteries just now, started. Means battery or alternator. Gonna bring battery to shop to get tested. Result 1, Battery screwed, get new one. Result 2, Battery fine, alternator screwed? Please be option 1 lol...

Few months ago I had my battery die, was meant to be a new one. Batteries don't long anymore and most only have 12 month warranty on them

thats pretty shit^

Ive rung autobarn and a place called globe batteries in padstow.. some independant.

Autobarn have a Century battery with 3yrs warranty for 139, -10 for the screwed battery.
And Globe have one for 120 with 2yrs warranty..

Clearly the 3yrs is good, BUT are Century batteries good? I assume so?

FYI new battery installed. Century, yellow one, $129, 3yrs warranty. 390___(mpa?) power output (as opposed to original 335) ....

Also, looking at buying some daytime running lights right now to stick under the rear bar, hook them(2) up to the reverse light circuit, or alternatively, an individual switch.

Next on the list is roof racks + fairing; some led's on the interior (Dash, dome); then black out the headlight protectors along with aditional frontal indicators. But I'm juggling this with saving for things like the snow...

Peace.

lol yeah but its probably made worse from the tinted garnish too! Also, i used to use the brake lights as a good source of light, but the spoiler light isnt working currently so sadface

agreed, WOOOOOO SNOW!!

Think we should take our off road able(ish) suby's up the slopes this year hahaha

ALSO, This morning being Posted Image'ing cold and all, I've realised this new battery has made a MASSIVE difference on how long the car takes to start on cold starts.Previously, it struggled like craaaazy but now it's all good in the hood :D
