As many of you would've seen on FB, I've installed B4 front brakes onto Berty on Tuesday. Slotted rotors, 294mm. Painted red for generic +5kw; but mostly cos I had the can lying around. Black would also look the goods....

Chris helped me out with this bigtime. He got a bottle of Jack for his services and wisdom. Kudos :D
He basically did the left one and I did the right afterwards with his help...after jackin her up and shiz too ofc.
Had to bleed twice as a tiny bit of air came out of the front right the second go round.
Also painted up the shitty looking part of the rotor with some matt black hi-temp chris had handy.

She now pulls up like an absolute beast. Do feel safe now.
(Shit, I should get a pic of the old pads, they were as crooked as (insert obligatory persons name here) p*nis...)
Can only imagine how much better Chris's are that he has now upgraded to.

Unfortunately I deleted the best before/after shot I had on my phone when it spazzed out, but here's some:

(Backs as i deleted the front pic :( )

That night I also fixed the wiring in the loom in boot to fix the spoiler brake light. Now it's alll good :)

And here's another pic: (yay for photobucket editing!)

So small update; Do have Fulls now, got them first time thank god. ..That's all tests passed first time :yahoo:

Changed the door trims to one of the newer revision's, painted the glove box and the other light grey dash surrounds to black. Looks nice.
Changed head unit to another one I had lying around, that I had ripped out of my old car when i sold it. Changed it as the AUX jack was really shit in the old one (Only R side had contact), and in addition the 'new' one looks Much better!

Changed the 4 globes behind the instrument panel to 5 LEDs each; do like!

Annnnd also, came back from the snow today; passed 240oooKms!
Also realised while I was away that I need to roll the guards pretty soon cos they scrape like crazy, esp. with 2 in the back! SO bad with 3 lol..
And when I came home, waiting for me was a small package which I had no idea what it was.. It was a red LED Panel for the dome light. LOL, put it in. its OK. haha

Lastly, might use a skateboard deck for a wind fairing...

Pics of changes tomoro arvo i spose.

Looks good with the new paint. I also had one of those old sony headunits with the aux port that died on it.

Man, must be a thing with them!

Rolled my guards a couple weekends ago over at Zach's. He has a pro guard roller to do it right! :)
Had scrubbing in the rear and probably will go lower at the front soon.

As you can see, I've also taken off the spoiler.

Installed a lip spoiler yesterday.

Posted Image

Available from:
http://www.ebay.com....984.m1497.l2649
around 50 bucks delivered. They paint up the spoiler to your colour specification in that cost also. Good product! Its the polyurathane plastic so its firm but flexible. And also comes with some really good quality adhesive tape on it.
