That's what I was thinking..
I think the throw out bearing didn't click in or something, and the master cylinder on top of the box won't reach the fork... I'm not sure what is happening, it's like the clutch is different but it's the same one, maybe it's the wrong clutch?

I don't know if I even understand that... ^

Did you put the pin for the clutch fork in properly? I didnt do it right on Grants RS. I was able to jiggle it around and get it in properly though.

We took the gearbox back off, fiddled with the clutch for a bit and then put it back on.

Seems fine though, took the car for a few laps this arvo, runs pretty good. Not getting ideal boost pressure though, would only just see low 10s. Hopefully the exhaust backpressure will fix that problem.
Other than that, we had no error codes, it was smooth and I have the car booked in to get a 2.5" catback put on it tomorrow, with a tune to come after the weekend.
Ill spend the weekend seeing how it runs and then if there is any problems, we will try and work it out.

:)

Still waiting on front swaybar mounts and centre console to come from ICHIban, they should have been here earlier in the week.

So, the car is complete minus an engineers certificate and a flash tune.
Ran the car over the weekend and had absolutely no dramas whatsoever.
It hooks. And that's with the stock td04l turbo back on it.

The exhaust is quiet as stock. I am running the 3" dump pipe, into a 2.5" high flow cat back with Gd Sti muffler. Sounds pretty awesome on acceleration. So quiet on the highway, don't know how long it'll last haha.

Gave it a bit of a wash, after one day, wheels were close to black from brake dust off the Bendix Ultimates...
Definitely worth it though, they pull up so well especially with the awesome tyres that are on it.

Looking forward to the Sydney trip!!

y didnt u use the 22?

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

It was making a very loud, high pitched whining noise... Took it off, and now whe you spin the propeller, it sounds as though there is something in it. I'm not sure what happened, it was getting oil, water etc...

Will let it go cheap for someone who wants to rebuild it or might be able to fix it...

Not going to carry on like the guy i sold my motor to...

If I am going to have the whole car the same colour, then I will be spraying the whole thing Rex blue.
White with white wheels doesn't do it for me.

I don't mind the silver cladding, as it separates the wheels from the chassis a little.

It's lighter than the earlier revisions, isn't it?
