Yes yes take it off and I will look after it for you.... (Wink)lol!
Looking good mate coming along nicely , hope to see you at the photo shoot and get a Gen 3 only group photo.

Sandy

Yea yea, nice try. Although you should get one!

I'm keen for that, hopefully should have her all pretty by the end of the week. Then I'll be ordering some slotted rotors + painting callipers for more cosmetic goodness.

You just need a new bolt to secure the bracket back to the mount. If your mounts and brackets are standard, just pinch one off another Liberty at the wreckers.

Should be all gewwwd :)

Hopefully. Then I can look at getting new rotors, is it worth upgrading the calipers or just get new rotors and nice pads?

Installed -

Whiteline rear camber bushes

rolled my rear guards

JDM Grill and some black muteki wheel nuts! (thanks chris)

JDM HIDs

This gave me a lot more room for more low!

More low? Enough? Opinions please!

p.s No scrubbing.

Looks great mate and I think the height is good aka no police trouble and if you get a front lip then it will look lower again :)

And any pics of the front and that sure is a same about the newly discovered problems :(

Awesome Im looking forward to them and a RSK bumper would change the whole look of the car in a good way! Go for it

No swaybar = instant drift :P

Very clean! Really like where you are at with the car and the rsk front bar would really top off the front end.

The grill looks amazing on your car mate especially against the white :)

And a RSK front bumper would finish it off nicely like Mr SBV said :P

Will try and find one for cheap, trying not to spend money as I want a b4 soon as possible.

When I was choosing between the whole 'sell and buy a B4' or 'engine conversion'
I found that when I was looking for a B4 it was Damn near impossible to find exactly what I wanted. And I was adoment that I wanted a black B4 with low k' (or as low as I could find) at a fair price. Nothing. Searched for 3 months. There was no point selling my car which I know is in good condition.

That's true. How much could I get away with for a wrx conversion?

I already contemplated that :( Dont want to sink $10k + into the Lib ,you'll save if you do most the work yourself though but for me its a "need verses want ",However let me know as I can get my hands on a WRX wreck pretty cheap.... with med-high engine mods.

Sandy :P

id love to be able to do the conversion myself. just don't have the space at my house. I'm going to get Ichiban Imports to quote me up soon as mine too is becoming necessity.

Well let me know what you get quoted for. I'm heavily leaning towards a conversion... Need to do my research however.

I've done plenty of other bits and pieces with my car but the actual conversion (JDM GTB) only cost me about $3k - Less than that if you deduct proceeds from leftover engine/drivetrain parts I sold. Mind you I did it myself and can understand that it would be costly to have a mechanic do the job.

That's also for the twin turbo GTB which is a bit simpler than the WRX conversion. I am actually really impressed with the driveability and performance of the JDM twin turbo to be honest, even after having a single turbo GT.

I have the space, should have another car to use in the meantime. I only have most of the basic tools and can get an engine crane, and a couple of mates who have done engine swaps on other cars. Anything that is necessary before attempting a conversion like this?

Can anyone off a suggestion on what the most cost effective engine swap is? Considering the difference between a clean b4 and my current car being about 8 grand, I would like to get it done for near that amount and is this possible?
