MY FAVOURITE LOOKING RX EVER!

Very enjoyable to read :)

Your car gives me so much inspiration as I have the same rims as you (mine are 16's but I want 17's) and I want to get spats too! My RX is the rev D however.

Those rims sooo do it justice ;)

Nice colour too, I don't see too many in green.

How did you come to the conclusion for the RSR Ti Springs? Is there any difference in ride height between them and Bilstein springs for the Gen 3's?

Are there any performance mods you'd like to do seeing as though you've mastered the cosmetics quite well?

*Following this topic with keen interest*

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words,
The springs I have came with bilstein struts I got off Ben from ichiban, I can't really compare to stock B4 springs.
Later performance mods maybe new sways but I'm swapping 290mm B4 brakes in the rear within the next month or so.
Looking at maybe doing a conversion as I'm getting close to the 300,000km mark, money pending! And full respray in same colour.

Update (mostly done during Christmas holidays):
Brakelines sorted all Hel lines installed,

Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

F+R B4 Brakes sand blasted and resprayed red. New QFM A1RM pads and T2 rotors all around.

Got heads machined and tested, headgasket and most seals replaced all leaks stopped! As well as timing belt every other belt replaced! Radiator hoses replaced with genuine subaru WRX hoses. Coolant flushed and replaced with Nulon Blue.

Yeah she does feel a lot nicer and fuel consumption is much better around 7.8-8L per 100km. Though I am doing a lot of highway Km's but I don't drive like a granny so it could be better!
And your not wrong about the brakes! A bit squeally though at low speed (might put the pad shims back in) but it pulls up nice and quick I haven't had abs lock up on me yet!
Got new engine mounts to go in, rear diff bushes and bonnet struts as MCM inspired some ebay flash buys.

How much did you pay for the engine mounts and diff bushes, plus where did you get them from? I need to do those on my car.

Diff bushes are whiteline and engine mounts are hardrace from New Zealand. The whiteline bushes are available everywhere, I ordered mine from MRT as they have an 11% discount on all whiteline products ATM. And the hardrace bushes are off ebay. $300 for engine mounts $100 for diff mounts. Myles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Diff inserts and crossmember bushes are in and car is booked in for rear end respray (boot, qtr panel/roof, bumper) before HVC!
Woohoo!!
Also brakes are much more quiet after pad rotation/shim install.
